Operation Trick or Treat underway to make this Halloween safe for kids

31.10.09

Dozens of local and federal law enforcement agencies are sweeping the Las Vegas Valley for the most dangerous criminals. Operation Trick or Treat is a widespread effort to help make sure children Valleywide are guaranteed a safe and fun Halloween.

More than 17 local and federal agencies partnered with Nevada child seekers for it. Authorities say it focuses on sex offenders and is spearheaded by the US Marshals.

“51 arrests in the Valley this round alone. It has been by far our best Operation Trick-or-Treat. We've been operating Trick-or-Treat for three years now, and this is probably double the number of arrests than we had last year,” said Gary Orton US Marshal of District of Nevada.

The operation has also netted murderers, drug dealers and robbers.

USMC question???????

At what point in my USMC career can I request to take the MCMAP course up to the highest belt I can get? After boot camp, of course, but when am I eligible to take it?

Same exact question, only with the fully automatic weapons course (machine guns, e.g. M240)
MCMAP is the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.

first off you don’t apply for this program its for every Marine. you will get it in boot camp and once you get to your unit….. your unit will have you go through the course at their desecration . but if you want to get a jump start and attend some courses your going to need to talk with your Platoon SGT and your Company Training NCO

How much will the Droid phone cost on Verizon if you're not a new customer and only been with Verizon 1/2 yr.?

Droid phone is coming to Verizon. I’ve been with Verizon 3 months, but with another phone. I would like an idea of what price they will be charging current customers who want to switch to Droid.

Everything I’ve heard is that it will retail for $500.00-600.00.

What the price will be if you’re re-upping I have no idea, but I’m guessing ~100.00 less.

OK The Droid will be around $200.00 according to most insiders and with comparison to T-Mobile prices.
Right now the first phone will be the Eclair. The Eclair will be the first droid Cell Phone For Verizon. you can watch the video of the specs at http://droidcellphone.com
