im looking for a military waver for arson, 2nd degree burglary, and a sexual assault to join the marine corps.?
long story short, i played with fire and stole things when i was younger, but when i got out of juvenile hall for the burglary, i had sex with this chick, who was "supposed to be a lesbian", any ways so the next morning she wakes up and calls the cops on me, they let me go and say its my word against hers. so that night my friend gets drunk and calls her up and said some stupid shit about kicking her ass and what not, so they arrest me the next morning thinking it was me. so a year goes by before i even get to court and it comes down to ratting my friend out and him going to military prison(mind you he had joined the army and has had a kid by now) or taking a lesser charge from rape down to a sexual assault, so i did what any friend would do, i went down. i got off probation and have been clean since, about 3 years now. i know sealing my record wont help because the government can see anything they like, but i want to do that any ways so that stuff doesn’t come back to haunt me more than it already does. im wondering if there is any way at all no matter how hard it may be for me, to join the marine corps?
Probably not the Marines, nor the Air Force. Those two services tend to be particularly picky because they can be. If you really want to join the military, your best option would be Army, since they are usually the service that falls below recruitment goals the most. Even then, you are looking at three felony convictions, even as a juvenile. And, you face the additional issue that you can’t lie on your application to join, since that it is also a crime and, at the very best, if you are found out to have lied on your papers — particularly for things like these — its a dishonorable discharge.
You can wait until you are after 18, when your record is automatically sealed and even the Army can’t legally look into your record. Consult an attorney to determine how to answer the questions about your past without lying. Make sure that you have several recommendations from community, education and religious leaders ready. Then apply for what you want. As noted by someone else, the worst they can say is no.

don’t even try the marines are dumb its not worth it you would just screw up your life even more

Pretty much the answer is "no". The Marines are looking for a few good men, and those things you mentioned won’t get you two minutes with a Corps recruiter or any service for that matter. But, it never hurts to try. The worst they can say is "no".

R4,
Go see your local recruiter. They can help you with anything you need.

Hello "R4"
I am sure that you knew that what you were doing was criminal and wrong. You knew the difference between right and wrong and you did not adhere to the right. You did wrong because you wanted to do wrong.
The military services are right to reject you for enlistment. Not everyone must serve in our Armed Forces. Only the best people who have the cleanest civilian records.
Best wishes in a civilian job for you.

A wiser man once told me nobody has the right to serve in the U.S. Military. Whether it be the Marines, Army, Air Force or any other branch, it’s a privilege to serve with honor & distinction. The Marines will do well to reject you because you’re simply not the quality material that the U.S. Military needs, especially now.
I’m not knocking you down neither. I’m just speaking from a perspective that is from my experience in the Army. I did 2 tours of combat duty, served in over a dozen combat missions & I earned several awards and in the end I look back on my earlier days when I 1st wanted to sign up & I am glad I made the efforts to keep my nose & attitude clean. It does make a difference to do what is right, ethical & moral, even if you’re a kid.
My suggestion to you is to try & keep yourself clean as you get older. Finding jobs will be harder with a record, especially for any felonies. Try trade school or some sort of technical college, it’ll make for a somewhat better life. I don’t think the military will take you with that kind of record. When I 1st started looking at signing up way back when I was 18 I 1st looked into the Navy & then the Marines. I almost went Navy but backed out. I looked into the Marine Corp & one thing is for sure, they don’t want someone who isn’t tip top or close to it. They truly need a few good men & only a few good men work in that branch. I finally hit up the Army office & I found myself going to Basic Training a few weeks later at Ft. Benning. My point is that you aren’t always the right kind of material that the military is looking for. They won’t just take anyone but some recruiters have been lax because recruiting is tougher when wars are waging overseas. Anywho good luck at your endeavors & remember to never give up on what you want, even if you have to change your path some.

dont count on it kid, the most your gonna is a water bottle and a key lanyard, out of the guys that got waivers that im serving with are just assaults or dui.

I assume you’re wanting to join the Somalia Marine Corps.
You have no chance with the United States Marine Corps. They’re looking for a FEW GOOD men.
Nvr2soon | Nov 11, 2009
will NEVER happen.. one you need 3 waivers..Marines never waive more than 2.. and sexual assualt>> WILL NOT HAPPEN. ever.
choose another path. you will not be serving in ANY Branch of the US military.
Mrsjvb | Nov 11, 2009
Honestly probably not…..we aren’t hurting for numbers right now so we get to pick the best of the best…..sry not everyone can be a Marine….try the Army.

John E | Nov 11, 2009
You dont deserve to serve with our military, especially the Marines.
Bj N | Nov 11, 2009
Please don’t join. I have enough guys with recordings trying to become Marines. I don’t need an robbing, sexual deviant/arsonist watching my back.
Soup-Tyrant | Nov 12, 2009
You are not Marine Corps material son, in fact, the Army wouldn’t even waste their time on you.
Jellybelly | Nov 12, 2009
No, you don’t belong in the service. Sorry. The Marine Corps is very prestigious, will not take scum.
Good luck in finding a good civilian job.
Aric H | Nov 12, 2009
Will not happen. There is no way the military will take you.
